    At seven acre Bluff Park, your family can enjoy a barbeque area with picnic tables and benches. There are outdoor showers, snack bar and several miles of unforgettable nature filled, hiking trails.

    In season the park is also a great spot for whale migration observing, not to mention an every evening extravaganza of watching the sunset over Catalina Island.

    Dana Point was named for Richard Henry Dana, Jr., the author of "Two Years Before The Mast".

    Dana discribed Dana Point and neighbouring San Juan Capistrano as "the only romantic spot in California". The beautiful Dana Point Marina is one of the few harbors along California's Orange County Coast.

    Guests enjoy a fasinating visit to the museum replica of Richard Henry Dana's ship, The Pilgrim at the Dana Point Marina, an area designated as a California Historical Landmark.
